Supporting Vulnerable Communities Through
Humanitarian Action and Sustainable Development
Humanitarian Organisation for Peace, Education, and Development (HOPED) is an Afghan national non-governmental organisation delivering humanitarian assistance and sustainable development programs across Afghanistan. With more than 15 years of operational experience, HOPED responds to urgent humanitarian needs while supporting long-term recovery and resilience.
HOPED works across multiple sectors to address both immediate and structural challenges faced by vulnerable communities. Our interventions span humanitarian response, education, peacebuilding, livelihoods, health, and WASH, ensuring a holistic approach to community wellbeing.
Our programs prioritize women, children, youth, internally displaced persons (IDPs), returnees, host communities, and other at-risk groups, ensuring inclusive and community-driven support. While administratively based in Pakistan, HOPED implements field-based programs throughout Afghanistan, working directly within communities to deliver localized and context-sensitive interventions.

HOPED collaborates with local communities, relevant government departments, and international and national humanitarian partners to ensure coordinated action, transparency, and accountability.
